Privacy
This page describes what HeadcanonKit actually does with data. It is written to match how the site is built rather than copied from a template, so it says less than most privacy policies — because there is less to say.
What the generator does with what you type
Nothing leaves your browser. The character name you enter is used for exactly one thing: filling the name slot in the sentence. The tool is a single HTML file, and everything it does — picking lines, inserting your name, rolling again, copying, downloading — happens inside your tab with no server involved. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the internet and the generator still works.
What this site does not do
- No accounts and no sign-up.
- No cookies of our own.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers.
- No uploads — nothing you type is sent anywhere.
- No mailing list, and no collection of your email address unless you choose to write to the address below.
Measured on 20 September 2026, loading the homepage made zero sub-resource requests: no external scripts, no stylesheets, no fonts, no images. The generator itself issues no network requests at all.
Hosting, and the one request that does happen
An honest caveat: loading any web page is itself a request. This site is served by Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare handles the HTTP request for each page and — like any hosting provider — can see the standard technical information that comes with it, such as your IP address, your browser's user-agent string and which URL you asked for. What Cloudflare retains is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy, not by anything on this site.
We do not run our own analytics on top of that, and we do not build visitor profiles or try to identify anyone.
Advertising
This site displays no advertising today. It is intended to carry third-party advertising in the future, and this section exists so that is disclosed in advance rather than after the fact. If third-party advertising is added:
- the ads will be served by a third-party advertising network, not by this site;
- that network may set its own cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and which pages or ads you saw;
- that collection is controlled by the ad network's own privacy policy, which will be linked from this section once it applies;
- where the law requires it, a consent notice will be shown before any such cookies are set.
You can limit this generally: browsers let you block third-party cookies, and the advertising industry runs an opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info for interest-based advertising.
The statements elsewhere on this site about cookies and network requests describe the site without advertising. They will be revised at the same time any ad code is added, so that the two never contradict each other.
Copying and downloading your results
The copy and download buttons work on your own device. A downloaded file is created locally by your browser; nothing is fetched from or stored on a server.
Children
The site is written as general-audience material and is not directed at children under 13. There is no account system and nothing is collected from anyone who uses the generator.
Changes to this page
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the revision date below is updated. Last revised 20 September 2026.
